A person will never be saved, until they realize they are a sinner. They will realize that when they measure themselves against the Ten Commandments. If you fail at keeping one or all, you are a sinner, but keeping the law (even if you could) can't save you.

You are saved by the grace of God (unmerited favor of God) through accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord. By taking up your cross DAILY and following Him.

There are only two types of people in God's eyes, those who are saved and those who aren't. Your either a saint or you aint!!!

Are you keeping all of the law? No! Then you need Grace!

Romans Chapter 3.

I'm sure that some of you think I've gone nuts, but I'm not, I'm just getting back to where I once was and sorry if this offends anyone, but that's the way it is.

I'm tired of living like HELL here on this earth. I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me for backsliding on God.

Love to all,

Cochise

From Cochise

This is going to sound so far fetched to some of you, but it is something I have struggled with now for over 3 years.

Though I know I have not lived a perfect life since many of you have met me, I have always tried to be Christ like in all doings, even when getting upset, I've tried to deal with it the way I KNOW I should. I have failed on occasions.

I cuss way to much! I on a few occasions have over indulged in alcohol. I have bad mouthed people and even went to jail about 6 months a go for striking someone, though I felt he needed and probably would do it again.

What I'm saying is that I am not perfect, and the Bible when using that word, would better be translated "mature" in all your ways, yet I strive to be grown up in decisions that affect my life.

Now here is the part that may surprise some of you, but I became a christian in 1983, right out of a Motorcycle Club, two years later I went to college at the age of 30, to study the Bible and to preach. I pastored churches for 15 years, did evangelistic work (traveled from town to town sharing what my conversion to Christ did for me and the change that transpired), started a Biker Ministry called Soldiers For Christ, which is still nationwide today, and started a church in KY called Set Free that was a come as you are church (remember God looks on our heart not on our outside, as we should and as we did at Set Free). It was a church for everyone that just wanted to be free to worship, without the restraints of suits and ties and dresses, and there isn't anything wrong with those things as long as they are not mandatory for worship. We rode our scoots and rods to worship service, we had a rock band that played worship songs and even at times sang from the Baptist Hymnals. It was a place of freedom to worship God.

After a divorce in 2000, I was ostracized by many and backed away from my calling, and for 10 years I have been paying the price of being disobedient to that calling. I've been miserable!!! I've back slide on God, and that's the bottom line.

So today I'm asking you who pray to pray for me as I make a decision on what to do HERE. God brought me here for more than to drink beer and ride motorcycles!!! I want to get back up and stand before people who are hurting, that need hope and share with them what aided me for years, and that's Biblical Principles. I honestly feel that if I don't start sharing the Gospel again, I'm going to die. I don't necessarily mean that literally, but emotionally. I miss it bad.

Now in the past 10 years I have kind of beat around the bush about sharing Christ with others, and I''ve even justified my lack of being out doing what I KNOW I should be doing, by putting a God's page in the magazine, but that's not sufficing. Anyway, for the last month I've been sharing with a few about wanting to start a church or some sort of weekly fellowship here in the area for people to come to and receive HOPE and LOVE as I read and share the Word of God, and everyone has totally agreed with me, that we need it, even people that have never attended any type of organized religion.

I hear people say all the time, that they don't believe in organized religion, but I say I don't believe in anything that is not organized, because then people are all going in separate directions, and not able to encourage each other. I feel strongly, as many of us are getting older that we do need more encouraging, other than over a drink in the bar or at a poker run. We need a place we can come into and sit in quiet and peace and listen.

I realize this may not be something for everybody, and no hard feelings. But if you feel like you would and can be a part of something like this, let me know. I would love to keep this in the area from Edgewater to Daytona, but where ever He leads, I'll go.

We just need a place to meet, whether it's in a garage, under a tree or many of the local bars or restaurants that don't open till noon, as we would do this at approximately 10am on Sunday mornings for about an hour.

Think about! I need to do this! Do you need or want something like this? No money involved, unless I have to pay rent!

The other thing is, I will be laughed at and maligned for this decision, but I can handle being criticised for this, more than I can for other things I've been raked over the coals for. I've never minded being put down or laughed at for being a believer in God, through Jesus Christ, so let the devil and his crowd bring it on.

Quickly, the reason behind the Restaurant/Bar we were going to get involved with in Port Orange was to have a place we could hold church in on Sunday mornings. But it wasn't His will.

I'm not asking anyone to quit anything, drinking, smoking, doping, etc., that's between you and Him, not me. You know whether you are living right or wrong. You know whether your life is pleasing to Him or not. Who am I to judge? I have my own life to look at, and I need help.

If you know of a place we can meet let me know. Anywhere that will hold a few people on a Sunday morning, that's all, one time a week.

My wife, Bianca and I are ready to share with any and all, what God has done for us, yes, even in the last year, while I was far far away from Him.

Peace and Love Brothers and Sisters

P.S. Please feel free to share this e-mail with others in the area, as I know many many people want to hear about this, that I don't have an e-mail address on. Time is getting shorter for all of us, and I KNOW it's time WE all get right and ready.

P.S.S. The death of my good friend Speedy and his wife Nina has expiated this e-mail to you. Brothers and Sisters, we never know when our time is up, and we need to be prepared to met our Creator.

God Bless,

84 year old Panhead Bill, still riding and kicking his bike to life. How awesome is that?

A Cold

Don't know about you all, but I've never seen colds hang on as long as they are this year. My wife and daughter has had one for going on 4 weeks, over 2 weeks for me.

You reckon it's something in the air, put there by the enemy?

Just because you aren't paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get you!!!

Good Morning

Friendship is like a BOOK. It takes few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write.

When GOD solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when GOD doesn't solve your problems HE has faith in your abilities.

A blind person asked St. Anthony: "Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?" He replied: "Yes, losing your vision."

When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them; and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.

WORRYING does not take away tomorrow's TROUBLES; it takes away today’s PEACE.

Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on what is for lunch.
Liberty is a well armed lamb disputing the decision!

Gen. George Patton

"For over a thousand years, Roman conquerors returning from the wars enjoyed the honor of a triumph - a tumultuous parade. In the procession came trumpeters and musicians and strange animals from the conquered territories, together with carts laden with treasure and captured armaments. The conqueror rode in a triumphal chariot, the dazed prisoners walking in chains before him. Sometimes his children, robed in white, stood with him in the chariot, or rode the trace horses. A slave stood behind the conqueror, holding a golden crown, and whispering in his ear a warning: that all glory is fleeting."

Loyality (As Written For Cycle Source Magazine)

Loyalty isn't something thats prevalent in our society anymore!!! In days past, men have always been loyal to a few things; such as a brand of smokes, a certain beer, a particular car make and sometimes a women. But the one thing that you could write down in your little proverbial black book was the loyalty of and to your buddies, your amigos, your brothers, that my friend was a given!!!

Today, not so. Perhaps there are many reasons why, but mainly it has to do with a lack of integrity on some people's parts. What caused this downward spiral? If I had to guess, I'd bit on drugs. When men started producing and using some of these synthetic powders that made you feel like you were having a 30 minute orgasm, it changed things. Just as a crack head will do whatever (even menial degrading tasks) to get his fix of the dope, so too will many of the "brothers", even making deals with the cops in order to walk free. It's got to the point where men are ratting on their bros to stay out of the pen on a daily bases, even though they are just as guilty as the ones they're squealing on, and after their so called buddies are locked down, these two face snitches continue on living and trying to reach that "feeling" they get from the "monster" as if they did nothing wrong.

Some of you may be thinking, why is this cat slamming those of us who do a little "jolt" from time to time? I'm not, unless it has caused you to become a snitch and someone that cannot be trusted. Ask any brother that has been locked away from his friends, freedom and family, that was put there because of another brother's habit, what it feels like to be betrayed. Addiction to the feel and the money has devastated loyalty and as someone wrote on the Cycle Source forum a few months ago, killed brotherhood, and I agree. As the counselors preach, "If it controls you, rather than you controlling it....", well you get the point.

Many that are a part of our life style has rolled over and become a rat because of the afore mentioned, but that's not exactly what I want to make my main topic in this writing. You see my friends, drugs do not have to be involved in today's biker society to cause disloyalty, rather it's caused more by men's drive for success and money that seems to be the monster here in 2010. Up and coming entrepreneurs use friends as stepping stones to climb the ladder of prominence in America's dog eat dog society, even in the realm of where we all live.

A person can do a friend a favor to help them get started in business, and then the next thing you know, they are sitting pretty upon that throne of importance, looking down on the very ones who gave them "all their breaks in business", " deep discounts" and "introduced them to the throngs" that made them one of the elite. It breaks my heart to see good men forget where they came from. I know they were raised differently and this isn't the real them, yet they sway back and forth on the drug of infamy and are not only loosing touch with reality, but crushing the very souls of those who propelled them upon that pedestal. These people are no longer loyal to their friends and brothers.

In the magazine business, I see it monthly. I give a shop the biggest break I can, many times charging them exactly what I pay for the ad, yet every time a new rag comes shaking their short mini skirt ass towards them and lifting that pretty stocking covered leg up on a bar stool revealing as much skin as possible, for the purpose of intentionally seducing the owner with there "better deal", they forget what I did for them and they are now in the "new" mag. Dudes, I get shit on like that here in the Daytona area about every thirty days.

In the motorcycle shop business, you cut a customer some slack on his parts every time he comes in, but one day he sees a tire at J P's that's $4 cheaper than what you offered it to him for, and he buys it there, and to pour salt into the wound he brings it to your shop to install on his bike. I've seen shop owners suck it up and go ahead and mount the tire, but for me this is nothing more than a slap in the face to a business man who has gone farther than necessary to please you and to help keep you rolling, only to be paid back with disloyalty.

My favorite one is when customers think there are better than you because they have money and you don't and they hold it over your head by saying, "I can either buy it here or down the road", as they wave the old check or credit card under your nose. This may work on a franchise, but to do that to an honest "independent" business owner who has treated you like family is a disgrace and should never ever be a part of being a biker. This is not how it all started!!! Men were loyal to each other in brotherhood, in business and in bikerdom, not because we "had" to be to make money, but because it was a part of who we were back then. It was something that was bred into us as Americans, and we graciously offered a helping hand to our counterparts daily, because we believed in each other and wanted to be treated the same way we treated others.

Loyalty is a forgotten trait in today's fast paced, new age culture and it has crippled our nation to the point of "we are no longer one", but fragmented, broken to the extreme, perhaps almost beyond comprehension and salvation. Each doing their own thing, dancing to the beat of their own drum, and crapping on everyone, including those who got them started in the right direction. I ask you to remember those old men, those old friends, those little people who, along with "your" grit and determination help make you who you are. It's the right thing to do and "that's the way it was and still should be".
