April '10 Freedom Ride

We had 41 bikes show up for our ride, scotters ranging from 3 Panheads, to a brand new (1978) Honda 750. After $1.50 Bloody Mary's & $1.50 Breakfast Sandwiches at the Lania Pub, we pointed South on US 1 to Maytown Rd, & headed West to Foxhead Bar.

Maytown Rd is a scenic 30 mile ride, but the road is a killer on bikes, especially rigids, and the speed limit is slow and enforced, but the hanging moss from the huge oak trees takes your mind away from your hurting butt and launches you into a place of soulful bliss.

After a couple of brews at Al's Foxhead, we preceeded South on 415 to Hwy 46, turned West for about a mile and stopped at the Airport Hanger Bar, where we enjoyed Pulled Pork Sandwiches, cold drinks and a good Juke Box.

Some left from here and went to the Patch, but most stopped by Johnny Rotten's Bar Out Back for awhile before taking another scenic route around Lake Jessup, to the Cabbage Patch.

Finished the day up with Moma, Baby & Grandbaby watching a movie. It was a good day.
