I Am The Friend That Will Share With You, What He Did For Me.
Many of my old friends are dead. The kids I grew up with. I'm blessed to be alive, as I had a major heart attack at 43 years of age, but God spared me for a reason. I don't think it was just to ride a bike, drink a beer or two, and to waste away time, till I die. All I really need to say is that I want to try to get as many of my existing friends to think about eternity while they are able, and share Christ with as many as possible, before I take that trip.
I'm not for sure how many of my old buddies I will see when I pass on (I pray all), as I can not be for sure of their salvation (except for one that I know of), as we were so young when some passed to the other side, but you who are alive today, you can know for sure. Think about what I'm saying.
You may not understand, or may not want to understand it or even hear it, but age will slip up on you, as it has me, and one day you will realize, as I have, life is winding down. The body goes to the grave or is burned, life (breath) leaves the body, but the spirit, the one thing that seperates us from all other animals is eternal, and the spirit will live on, the question is where.
I know where I'm going.
The devil hates me right now, because I've come back to my senses, and many of you may be confused, but don't be, for one day all that I'm speaking of will be made plain to you as well.
I pray that you don't delete me as a friend, and I know that you don't want to be preached to, but I do not apologize for what I believe is right, and the right thing to do for me. May His Spirit direct our paths.
Please read my blog on salvation (the Roman's Road), e-mail me, private message me, ask right here or call me, if you need answers. I will not argue with you over interpretations of the Bible or what some call the many paths that lead to God. I will however listen to you if you show me the same respect.
The greatest thing you have going for you today is that Jesus loves you, the second greatest thing today that can happen to you is that a true Christian loves you enough to share that same Jesus with you.
So friends you are loved!!!

Huuuummmmm!!!!
As the old saying goes, if a hypocrite stands BETWEEN you and God, the hypocrite is closer to Him than you.
From a College Brother
Pastor Darrin Miller and I attended Bible College together, I graduated before him, but when he did get his degree he went on to Seminary and I went into evangelism and building a church in Owensboro, KY. I received Bro. Darrin's latest BLOG entry via e-mail this morning and wanted to share it with some of you.
My mentor Dr. Steve Wilkes has a mission’s heart as big as the world. He was my church growth professor while attending Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He also became my friend and mentor. His passion for starting new churches is contagious. I think one of the reasons we got together was my passion for missions, evangelism and church planting almost matched his.
Dr Wilkes taught me several truths and I want to share with you a couple that are part of my DNA. First, go to the harvest area. Henry Blackaby in Experiencing God said it this way ‘go where you see God at work’. Jesus Said (Matt 9:37-38) “The harvest is plenteous but the laborers are few: Pray ye therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.” My heart is to work and take others into the harvest field. My experiences include 14 international mission trips. All trips were to harvest areas except two. We need people to go to pioneer areas however God has bent my heart toward the harvest. Second, is that new churches are the most effective evangelistic tools on planet earth.
God has blessed me with the privilege to be involved in many church plants nationally and globally. Obviously, I have a strong passion for church planting. New churches grow faster than existing churches. New churches are more effective in reaching the unchurched. New churches are not hindered by traditions and mindsets that are not biblical or effective. New churches can be cultural relevant to the people they are trying to reach.
I believe every city and town should have a new, relevant, modern and life-giving community of faith that focuses on the unchurched. Please understand that new churches are better than existing ones. New churches are not for everyone and thank God for the established churches, however in reality new churches can reach people the established churches cannot. That is the reason I have a passion for new churches. People need Jesus! Without Christ people have no hope. I want to make it hard for people to go to hell and new churches are the most effective tool I know.

Charles Spurgeon
And now, lastly, to you sinners, to you who are not saved-What is there to be said to you about this power of the Holy Spirit?
Why, to me, there is some hope for some of you. I cannot save you: I cannot convince you. I make you cry sometimes-you wipe your eyes, and it is all over. But I know my Master can. That is my consolation. Chief of sinners, there is hope for you! This power can save you as well as anybody else. It is able to break your heart, though it is made of iron; to make your eyes run with tears though they have been like rocks before.
His power is able this morning, if he is willing to change your heart, to turn the current of all your ideas, to immediately make you a child of God, to justify you in Christ. There is enough power in the Holy Spirit. You are not weak in him, but in your own hearts. He is able to bring sinners to Jesus: he is able to make you willing in the day of his power. Are you willing this morning? Has he gone so far as to make you desire his name, to make you wish for Jesus? Then, O sinner! while he draws you, say, “Draw me, I am wretched without you.”
Follow him, follow him, and while he leads, follow in his footsteps, and rejoice that he has begun a good work in you, for there is evidence that he will continue it even to the end. And, O desponding one! put your trust in the power of the Holy Spirit. Rest in the blood of Jesus, and your soul is safe, not only now, but throughout eternity. God bless all of you who have listened to this sermon.
Amen.

Spring Has Sprung
The birds have been singing here in Florida for more than a month now, but the way you can tell Spring is here, is the weeds are turning greener, and the bodies are getting tanner.
The weather has been awesome here for well over a month, wish more could be here instead of still in the snow. But home is where the heart is.
And I'm struggling with that one.

Cochise

John 14
Jesus Comforts His Disciples
1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Jesus the Way to the Father
5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[c] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

Brilliant
Considering all the brilliant, devious minds we had in high
school, I don't know how we missed doing this........
At a high school in Montana, a group of students played a prank....they
let three goats loose inside the school.
But before turning them loose, they painted numbers on the sides of the
goats: 1, 2, and 4.
School Administrators spent most of the day looking for No. 3.........

As We All Know
The ecomomy is seeing some hard times right now. Gas and grocery prices are more than some can afford. I know we have had to cut back in some areas to thrive in others.
I thank God we had a good month last issue on ads for the magazine, but as usual the months following Bike Week issue is always slow, but I want to thank God that though we have less ads than in March, the quailty hasn't dropped and the people who are true are still sticking with us.
I praise His name for all he does for my faimly, and as we seek the direction he would have us to go in, I ask you to join in agreement with us on what we need to do to further His saving grace, and where.
Thankfully His,

The day we are living in???
John 12:43 "for they loved human praise more than praise from God."
Men love the praises of men, rather than the praise of God. Some things never change.

The 'Filling" of The Spirit!!!
Well folks we had one more this week than last week at The Revival Staion, and though I am not happy with where we are meeting, this is where God has put me. And we all know that our obeidience brings Him glory, not our happiness.
I am praying for the "filling of the Holy Spirit" among some good christians, who have never experienced this. That's why there is no power in the churches.
We forget who is walking with us daily. It's not God the Father (who is sitting on His throne and His footstool is the earth), it's not Jesus Christ, whom sits at the Father's right hamd, but rather it's the Holy Spirit that is with us daily. Walking with us, directing our walk and decisions, that is our Leader.
But we must ask Him to fill us up to over flowing, if we want the power to do greater things than Jesus Himself did, as promised by Him.
I ask you who are saved, to right now, ask the Holy Spirit of God to fill you to over flowing now and receive it and watch, what happens in your life and in your part of the world TODAY.
In His Love,
Cochise

I Ask This Honestly And Sincerely
Why do people trade the Eternal for the Temporal? Why give more time and energy to things' that will one day rust away and be burned up, rather than to an eternal future.
The fun and games we enjoy this day is temporary, the possesions we honor today will soon be nothing more than a memory. Everything on and in this earth is temporary, including our bodies, but the spirit lives for eternity.
So, my dear friends, why, yes why do we trade the eternal for the temporal?
Love In His Name,
Cochise

Life Lessons
I told Bianca today that I do not want to ask another person for a building or even go look for one, if it's of God He will send someone to some of us, and say, "Hey, I hear you need a place to worship?"
For me, that's how it's got to happen. I'm tired of pushing me, and want to elevate Him!!! Salvation has nothing to do with man, other than being the river bed , that the "Living Waters" flow through. We are the conduit, He is what flows through us. We just have to let Him direct the way the water flows.
After being a Christian for over 25 years, though back slid for a few of those, I now know, IT'S ALL HIM!!! The only time a man needs to be lifted up is when another is praying for him to be saved, healed, etc. But never exalted for recognition. Pedestals are NOT for men to be put on or to sit on.
Brothers and Sisters, it's Jesus, plus nothing, minus nothing!!!!

Biker Ministry
I have been asked many times here in Florida to start a Biker Ministry or Biker Church, as they know I birthed the nationaly known Biker Ministry called Soldiers for Christ M/M back in 1992, which by the way is still alive today.
Though I enjoyed the adventure and often time challenges of doing that type of God's work, it put me in a box. You see our church in KY, Set Free, became known as the biker church, and it alienated those who were not motorcycle riders, thus I believe stopping some from coming to be a part of our congregation or even visiting.
A church should be open and acceptive to everyone, and when a pastor, teacher, etc gets up in his "biker outfit" time after time and speaks, some people do not feel as they fit in, no matter the message.
The Bible says we must become all things to all men, so by that, some will be saved. Just as the suit and tie pastor may cause a blue jean type man from coming to his services, so to would a "BIKER PREACHER" hinder the average Joe or Judy from attending worship.
I personally believe the best title for a church, is come as you are. Don't be concerned with cleaning yourself up first, on the outside by now dressing fancy, or on the inside (like quitting alcohol, drugs, etc.), as He will do that for you as you take Christ into your heart and walk daily with Him. Remember, my friends, you cannot clean a fish before you catch it, and neither should the church try to do this as well.
So, when the church here gets to rolling, it will be wide open for everyone to come as you are, and of course bikers will be just as welcome as the surfers, the skate boarders, the drunks and the straights. There will be no limitations placed on looks, rather on character, the way you act in the house of God. For we want the broken hearted, the back slider, the hurting and the lost to come, and receive love, acceptence and healing.
Love you all,
Cochise

To Anyone Who Really Reads This BLOG
I must make a decision soon. Stay or go!
I've been praying for an eye opening, soul shaking Holy Spirit Revival here.
I've also been offered a position in KY where this is happening.
Florida isn't home , but I've come to feel comfortable here.
Kentucky is home, but not sure I would still fit in.
There is a cultural difference.
If you pray, do so for my family, even if you don't like me.

"If men of wisdom and knowledge, of moderation and temperance, of patience, fortitude and perseverance, of sobriety and true republican simplicity of manners, of zeal for the honour of the Supreme Being and the welfare of the commonwealth; if men possessed of these other excellent qualities are chosen to fill the seats of government, we may expect that our affairs will rest on a solid and permanent foundation." --Samuel Adams
Ouch!!!
Church attendance is infected with a malaise of conditional loyalty which has produced an army of ecclesiastical hitchhikers. The hitchhiker's thumb says, "You buy the car, pay for repairs and upkeep and insurance, fill the car with gas – and I'll ride with you. But if you have an accident, you are on your own! And I'll probably sue."
So it is with the credo of so many of today's church attenders: "You go to the meetings and serve on the boards and committees, you grapple with the issues and do the work of the church and pay the bills – and I'll come along for the ride. But if things do not suit me, I'll complain and probably bail out--my thumb is always out for a better ride."
Kent Hughes
Disciplines of a Godly Man.

But if things do not suit me, I'll complain and probably bail out--my thumb is always out for a better ride."

Revival For The Church
When you desire to see His name glorified - you are desiring revival.
When you seek to motivate the Church - you are seeking revival.
When you are burdened by sin within the Church - you are burdened for revival.
When you ask the Lord to fan the flame within your own heart - you are asking for revival.
When you seek to motivate the Church - you are seeking revival.
When you are burdened by sin within the Church - you are burdened for revival.
When you ask the Lord to fan the flame within your own heart - you are asking for revival.

From An E-mail I Sent Out
Can a person really be saved, and not be a disciple?
Just something to think about as we read the Scriptures.
Cochise
*************************************
Your postings ask the same question I ask myself every day. We live in a fallen world and the gate gets narrower each day. I know I am supposed to let my light shine and be a missionary in the world, but sometimes I feel drawn in and feel more like 'them', than a woman on fire for our Lord.
Lady
**************************************
Lady,
I believe the narrow Way goes right up the middle of the broad way, in the opposite direction, and those traveling the broad way to destruction are always bumping into us, knocking us around, and even at times picking us up and carrying us backward.
I truly believe (and am so burdened) that the church as we know it, is not saved and is not carrying out the purpose of salvation, which is to let our light shine and reach out to the hurting and lost people of the world.
Many Christians need a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit, or filled for the first time, as on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2). We have no power because we don't ask for it. And many don't have that power because they have been deceived to think they are saved, when in reality they are only pretending. He said; to be my disciple, "Take Up Your Cross Daily", not join the church and attend occasionaly. Powerless, why? That is where each of us must examine ourselves, and find the truth and seek what we need to change our towns and beyond.
I'm scared many who profess Christ have never put their faith in HIm, and are false witnesses, and are doing more harm than good. Of course I'm not speaking of you or anyone in particular, but just referring to what the Spirit has allowed me to see.
Could it be true that the church is doing more harm than good?
I pray for you that you know for sure, and that you will be that woman on fire for our Lord Jesus. And as I cross your mind, whisper a prayer for me to be re-established in the ministry, and a true man of God.
God Bless,
Cochise
P.S. Greater is He that is in us, than he that's in the world, so let's give that recognition and power back to Him, and start winning, instead of being on the defense. Praise Jesus!
Just something to think about as we read the Scriptures.

The Narrow and Wide Gates
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Mat. 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
WHY IS THIS????
Could it be because TRUTHFULLY we are not doing what the Scripture told us and is telling us to do when it comes to TRUE salvation?
Are you taking up your cross daily?
Are you going into the world proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
Do you love Him, more than father, mother, etc?
Are you keeping the great commandments? Love God with all your heart, soul and being and loving yur neighbor as much as you love yourself?
When you got "saved" did you make a decision to take up that cross daliy? Or did you do as many, and only confess your sins, and ask for forgiveness and joined the church, and then occasionaly attend and occasionaly read the Bible and occasionaly pray?
Today is the day to get RIGHT!!!!
We love you!!!

From A Man I Lead To Christ In 1993
After asking him to read the sermon that RA Torrey preached on why DL Moody was a man used of God, this is what he wrote me back.................overlook his capitalization, his spelling and sense his weeping in the Spirit as he pens this e-mail to me, his former pastor and brother in the Lord.......Love you Mike.
brother, im speechless! why dont we turn ouselves over like DR.MOODY did. that sermon came from a man who had the privliges of studying and sorrounding himself with a man so powerful only because he gave all he had over to GOD and obeyed GOD.
i tell you the truth, i do not feel very tall right now! who am i to hang on worldly things for pleasure instead of doing what i should do. bro, i need prayer and need it bad. i want to do what we call so hard, but is so simple, and that is follow CHRIST. with all my being and dont look back , to the side , or down, but fix my eyes and heart on JESUS and only go where he leads me. brother as you can tell , im so shook up right now i can hardly think.....i need to hit my knees right now and ask for forgiveness, courage, and power. thank you bro for sharing that with me and so sorry it took this long to got back to you but my computer been down.....GOD BLESS YOU !....and bro ...I LOVE YOU!

A Hospital For The Backsliden
I need a place to worship God, through Jesus Christ as lead by the Holy Spirit that will be a hospital for the broken, a place that will meet people's needs at whatever point of life they are in. For if we can get the backsliden and broken restored and revived, then we can see a church that will reach the lost.

FAITH & ANXIETY
Where Faith begins, anxiety ends;Where anxiety begins, Faith ends.
"Only believe."
As long as we are able to trust in God, holding fast in heart, that he is able and willing to help those who rest on the Lord Jesus for salvation, in all matters which are for His glory and their good, the heart remains calm and peaceful. It is only when we practically let go faith in His power or His love, that we lose our peace and become troubled. This very day I am in great trial in connection with the work in which I am engaged; yet my soul was calmed and quieted by the remembrance of God's power and love; and I said to myself this morning:
"As David encouraged himself in Jehovah his God, when he returned to Ziklag, so will I encourage myself in God;"
and the result was peace of soul... It is the very time for faith to work, when sight ceases. The greater the difficulties, the easier for faith. As long as there remain certain natural prospects, faith does not get on even as easily (if I may say so), as when all natural prospects fail.

Romans Road of Salvation
Everyone needs salvation because we have all sinned.
Romans 3:10-12, and 23
As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” ... For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
2.The price (or consequence) of sin is death.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (NLT)
3.Jesus Christ died for our sins. He paid the price for our death.
Romans 5:8
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (NLT)
4.We receive salvation and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:9-10, and 13
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved ... For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (NLT)
5.Salvation through Jesus Christ brings us into a relationship of peace with God.
Romans 5:1
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. (NLT)
Romans 8:1
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. (NLT)
Romans 8:38-39
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NLT)
Responding to Romans Road
If you believe Romans Road leads to the path of truth, you can respond by receiving God's free gift of salvation today. Here's how to take a personal journey down Romans Road:
1.Admit you are a sinner.
2.Understand that as a sinner, you deserve death.
3.Believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from sin and death.
4.Repent by turning from your old life of sin to a new life in Christ.
5.Receive, through faith in Jesus Christ, his free gift of salvation.
To Bad They Leave Out THIS PART!!!
Luke 9:23 (New International Version, ©2011)
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
AND THIS!!!
Mark 10:21
Jesus looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack," he said. "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
